Closest to the South Rim at the Grand Canyon
About Us
For several years before college she worked at the Fred Harvey (now known as Xanterra) Grand Canyon/General Offices taking reservations for all the South Rim lodges/hotels, mule rides, river trips and various tours. Later, after graduating with an Associate from Phoenix College she transferred to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. There she received her Bachelor's degree and went on to teach at the Tuba City Junior High Boarding School on the Navajo reservation for a couple years. Next, finding herself back in Phoenix, she fell into Phoenix radio which is where she stayed for15 years. When this path turned into a job ("Why work when you can play radio?" Sally always said) she returned to northern Arizona.
After selling her property in Phoenix and living in a log cabin near the Canyon without electricity and running water, she has finally found a home, on the grid, 20 minutes from the South Rim of The Canyon. Thanks to her Dad, John Wilson, who sits on the Payson City Council and his lovely philanthropic wife, Sue C.,
Sally is fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening a B&B near the Grand Canyon. Coming full circle, her desire is to share this piece of paradise with guests in a comfy cozy relaxed atmosphere. She is knowledgeable with the Grand Canyon area and its attractions such as, the Grand Canyon Railway aka “The Train”, the spectacular canyon tours of Maverick Helicopters and the famous Grand Canyon Mule Rides. She is familiar with Williams and Grand Canyon area restaurants and will be happy to recommend those pointing in the direction of your desires. As a guest at the HHJJ B&B, you will be privy to some of the secret places Sally knows---not revealed to the average visitor. Many guests express that when they cross the gates onto the Happy Happy Joy Joy property, they can literally feel a shift...a positive spiritual shift not felt at any other place they’ve stayed. Sally and Happy Happy Joy Joy B&B has recently joined the Williams-Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce and invites you to the Friday, May 14th, Chamber Ribbon-Cutting/Mixer with the 2nd Annual HHJJ Soirée to follow.
